Principal's Message 

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to Kelley Elementary School. I am excited to begin another incredible year of learning, growth, and success alongside our students and families.

As your principal, there is one message I hope every student and family hears from the very first day they join our school community: You belong here. I believe that every child deserves to feel welcomed, valued, respected, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. When students know they belong, they develop the confidence to ask questions, embrace challenges, persevere through obstacles, and discover all they are capable of accomplishing. My commitment is to foster a school where every child feels seen, every family feels valued, and every student has the opportunity to thrive.

I am incredibly proud of what our Kelley Koalas accomplished last year. Our students demonstrated significant growth in English Language Arts and Mathematics, student attendance increased, and Kelley achieved the largest reduction in chronic absenteeism across the district. These accomplishments did not happen by chance. They are the result of strong partnerships among our teachers, support staff, families, and leadership team, all working together with a shared commitment to student success. They also reaffirm something I believe deeply—that when students feel connected, supported, and challenged, they achieve remarkable things.

As I look ahead to this school year, I am filled with optimism. I am excited to build on this momentum by providing engaging instruction, maintaining high expectations, and continuously improving our practices to meet the needs of every learner. I want every student to think critically, persevere through challenges, embrace new opportunities, and experience the pride that comes from meaningful growth. I firmly believe that every child can make significant academic progress, and I am committed to creating the conditions that allow each student to reach their highest potential.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. It is a responsibility I cherish and a partnership I deeply value. I look forward to celebrating every success, overcoming every challenge, and creating lasting memories with our students and families throughout the year.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2026–2027! Es un honor y un privilegio darles la bienvenida a la Escuela Primaria Kelley. Me llena de entusiasmo comenzar otro año extraordinario de aprendizaje, crecimiento y éxito junto a nuestros estudiantes y sus familias.

Como su director, hay un mensaje que deseo que cada estudiante y cada familia escuchen desde el primer día en que forman parte de nuestra comunidad escolar: Aquí perteneces. Creo firmemente que cada niño merece sentirse bienvenido, valorado, respetado e inspirado para alcanzar su máximo potencial. Cuando los estudiantes saben que pertenecen, desarrollan la confianza para hacer preguntas, aceptar desafíos, perseverar ante los obstáculos y descubrir todo lo que son capaces de lograr. Mi compromiso es fomentar una escuela donde cada estudiante se sienta visto, cada familia se sienta valorada y cada alumno tenga la oportunidad de prosperar.

Me siento profundamente orgulloso de todo lo que lograron nuestros Koalas de Kelley el año pasado. Nuestros estudiantes demostraron un crecimiento significativo en Artes del Lenguaje en Inglés y Matemáticas. Además, la asistencia estudiantil aumentó y Kelley logró la mayor reducción del ausentismo crónico en todo el distrito. Estos logros no ocurrieron por casualidad. Son el resultado de las sólidas alianzas entre nuestros maestros, personal de apoyo, familias y equipo de liderazgo, todos trabajando con un compromiso compartido hacia el éxito de nuestros estudiantes. También reafirman algo en lo que creo profundamente: cuando los estudiantes se sienten conectados, apoyados y desafiados, logran cosas extraordinarias.

Al mirar hacia este nuevo año escolar, me siento lleno de optimismo. Me entusiasma seguir construyendo sobre este impulso mediante una enseñanza dinámica, altas expectativas y un crecimiento continuo de nuestras prácticas para responder a las necesidades de cada estudiante. Quiero que cada alumno piense de manera crítica, persevere ante los desafíos, aproveche nuevas oportunidades y experimente el orgullo que nace del crecimiento significativo. Creo firmemente que cada estudiante puede lograr un progreso académico importante, y estoy comprometido a crear las condiciones que permitan a cada uno alcanzar su máximo potencial.

Gracias por confiarnos con la educación de sus hijos. Es una responsabilidad que atesoro profundamente y una colaboración que valoro de todo corazón. Espero con entusiasmo celebrar cada éxito, superar cada desafío y crear recuerdos inolvidables junto a nuestros estudiantes y familias a lo largo del año.

Estoy ansioso por ver todo lo que nuestros Koalas de Kelley lograrán.
